Brett
Wilson has been involved in the real estate business for over 20
years.During this
time, he has developed and constructed in excess of 3 million square
feet of properties throughout the Western United States.He has recently formed his own corporation, Wilson Income
Properties, to provide development and construction services to
clients on either an ownership or fee basis.
Prior
to forming his current business, Mr. Wilson served as President
and Managing Partner of two other development and construction companies.During this time, he completed in excess of 1.2 million square
feet of real estate development and construction projects for clients
such as Federal Express, Smith + Noble, L. A. Times and Bandag,
Inc., as well as a speculative small industrial building for sale
project.
Prior
to this, Mr. Wilson was the Southern California Regional Partner
for Rouse & Associates, a national real estate development company
headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.While directing all operations in Southern California, he
successfully developed over 680,000 square feet of industrial projects
including build to suit facilities for Federal Express and Southern
Wine & Spirits.
Previously,
Mr. Wilson served as Vice President of Development and Acquisitions
for The Sammis Company.During
his assignment, he developed over 1 million square feet and acquired
over 3 million square feet of properties throughout the Western
United States.
Mr.
Wilson received his BS degree from the University of Washington
and his MBA from Pepperdine University.He is also a Licensed California Real Estate Broker, a past
member of Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the
International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Institute
of Real Estate Management (IREM).He has also been a guest lecturer in real estate at the University
of California at Berkeley.Mr. Wilson resides in Coto de Caza, California, with his wife
and two children.
Peter
Burrows has a broad background in the building business with over
25 years of experience in both privately and publicly funded development
and construction.He
is fluent in the disciplines of planning and design, entitlement
and regulatory approval, architecture and engineering, contract
administration, and the intricacies of the various building trade
specialties.
Mr.
Burrows is currently furthering his longtime relationship with Mr.
Brett Wilson by serving as project planning and construction manager
at Wilson Income Properties.Together, Mr. Burrows and Mr. Wilson have developed and constructed
build-to-suit properties throughout the Western United States, for
clients such as Federal Express, Smith + Noble, Jayco Interface
Technology, and Bandag Incorporated, among others.
Prior
to joining Wilson Income Properties, Mr. Burrows performed similar
responsibilities at Wilson & Dalton Inc., a partnership founded
between Brett Wilson and Rick Dalton.At Wilson & Dalton Inc., Mr. Burrows played a key role
in the development and construction of a wide variety of commercial,
industrial, and tenant improvement projects.
A
strong and varied construction background has led Mr. Burrows to
his current endeavors.Upon
graduation with honors in structural drafting and design from a
highly regarded technical institution in Niagara Falls, New York,
he proceeded to study engineering at the State University of New
York at Buffalo under a State Regents Scholarship.After completion of service with a Mobile Construction Battalion
in the U.S. Navy Seabees, he furthered his education in business
management by attending Saddleback Valley College in Mission Viejo.He began his professional career as an architectural draftsman,
and utilized his previous technical and design experience coupled
with construction knowledge gained with the military to move directly
into the construction field.During the ensuing years, he acted in progressively responsible
positions, including project superintendent, project manager, construction
manager, owner’s representative, and operations manager, and has
held the responsibilities of estimating and bidding, contract negotiation
and administration, and job supervision.In the course of his construction career, he has completed
commercial projects encompassing a wide range of end uses, including
high and low rise office, retail, banking, warehousing and distribution,
medical, institutional, and industrial.He has completed site and shell work, additions, alterations,
and tenant improvements to comprise over 35 commercial projects
in excess of two million square feet and approximately $70 million
in value.
Mr.
Burrows resides with his wife, JoAnn, as longtime residents of Lake
Forest.He currently
serves as Chairman of the City of Lake Forest Planning Commission,
and has been a member since its incorporation in 1991, including
four terms as Chairman. His wife is also active in the local community
as General Manager of the Lake Forest II Master Homeowner’s association.They have two grown children and two grandchildren.
